The Vetala or Vetal is a revenant in Hindu mythology often compared to a vampire. These creatures are known to dwell on charnel grounds, they are evil spirits that haunt cemeteries and possess corpses. Because they are unaffected by the laws of space and time, the Vetala have otherworldly knowledge regarding the past, present, and future. The Vetala candle opens with top notes of airy powder to introduce the hearty notes of patchouli, musk, and nag champa.
